LATE POST

It was Matts Birthday in January and for his main gift, I decided to take him away to Holgates Caravan park in my tourer up at Silverdale. It wasn't an immediate thing, and we had to wait a while until the perfect time to go when no other responsibilities held us back, but sure enough we were patient and a few months later, off we went! It was the most fun I've had in so long! These are a few snippets from the weekend. It was lovely, we went up on the Thursday afternoon and left on Sunday night. We managed to climb castles, go on walks down beaches, skimming rocks, bike rides, kissed  a few horses- and each other ahem*, watched Canadian Geese coming into land, swam in the pool, sweltered in the Steam room, Sauna and Jaccuzzi...*sigh*... We even went into a pub that when you walked in, everyone looked at you because you were so obviously NOT a local- ah well! It was a perfect weekend just the two of us; lovers and best friends, away from the busy life of University, police work and parents... Bliss!
